Who are we?
The Needwood Flock was established in 2001 with the purchase of 6 unregistered ewes. We now have more then 50 pedigree breeding ewes and two rams. We breed our own replacements and regularly have stock for sale.
We are members of the Jacob Sheep Society and were thrilled to be the winners of the Central region 2010 flock competition in the category of BEST LARGE FLOCK and BEST PEN OF EWE LAMBS. This hotly contested competition is run every two years. The judges commended us on the uniformity of our flock and the management of our sheep.
Home is in the ancient Needwood Forest, a former royal hunting ground. We are tenants on the Rangemore Estate.
